As the expiration of your accreditation draws near, all travel agencies, tour operators, travel & tour agencies in NCR are hereby directed to renew their application pursuant to RA 9593 or the Tourism Act of 2009 and the Updated Progressive Accreditation System (UPAS).

Likewise, we have coordinated with the Local Government Units to ensure that they require the DOT Accreditation before they can renew your Mayor’s Permit/Business License pursuant to the DILG Memo Circular 2019-17 which states:

…“Concerned LGUs will be notified by the DOT of failure of compliance of respective Primary Tourism Enterprises (PTEs), and will have to issue necessary closure orders should PTEs fail to rectify the same.”
